Development of research skills in university students
Abstract
The main objective of the article is to analyze the importance of the study of research competences in university students, under the quantitative approach, through inquiry, collection and critical analysis through a documentary, bibliographic and descriptive typology. In this sense, several refereed scientific research works were considered, with the aim of investigating and obtaining the relevant information. The knowledge and inquiry contributed to the work obtained from documentary sources, on the development of investigative competences. They were grouped into three large dimensions such as: organizational, communicational and collaborative. Of great relevance is also the support of information technologies. It is concluded that for the development of research competences in university students it is necessary for teachers to be in constant updating and communication with students, to offer training in accordance with the changes that are generated in a globalized society and transformation.
