Cooperative strategies and their impact on social studies skills: a systematic review

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze cooperative strategies and their impact on social science competencies through a systematic review. The methodology consisted of a qualitative, documentary approach, employing both a literature review and content analysis as techniques. Similarly, instruments such as data sheets and analysis matrices were used. The PRISMA statement was used to select the articles. The results highlighted key aspects, such as: group synergy, inter- and transdisciplinary approaches, cooperative work and teaching strategies, communicative diversity, and the support of technologies, among others. In conclusion, the selected studies revealed that the application of cooperative strategies has fostered the development of social competencies in students.
