Epistemological perspectives of care management in nursing
Abstract
The general objective of this research was to describe the epistemological perspectives of care management in nursing. It was developed from the quantitative approach with a descriptive methodology with non-experimental design, which is supported by documentary-bibliographic analysis. Documents were used for this type of study; the researcher collects, chooses, examines and shows coherent results. The bibliographic design is supported by logical and mental processes. A research process was organized in which the study population was based primarily on written documents such as theses, refereed journals and scientific articles, to investigate the writings in order to study them and build conclusions that help in the generation of new knowledge. It is concluded that the development of nursing knowledge is supported by the contribution of other sciences, philosophy, models and theories; reflecting from epistemology, strengthening care management.
